Objective:
I want to be part of a creative environment where I can bring characters to life with realistic animation.
Education:
Columbia College Chicago 2005
BA: Film/Video concentration in Computer Animation
Experience:
-Animation Production Studio(fall of 04-spring of 05)
Student: Senior year class that simulated a studio setting. Class of fifteen students collaborated, and created an original animated short, Quixote.
I presented ideas and worked with my classmates to make them shine. I kept up with schedules and picked up work from others when needed.
My responsibilities included concept work, cinematography, and the majority of the CG character animation. I also made 3d models of the 2d characters for rotoscoping the tough movements.
-Cybercamps Acadamy (summer of 06, 07, and 08)
Camp Director: Overseer and Coordinator of computer camp for kids age 10-17.
My job duties included, training staff, managing relations with parents and universities, teaching and mentoring, scheduling, and preparing presentations.
I taught kids how to use Photoshop and Multimedia Fusion, but more importantly, I taught them how to filter all their ideas down to something special.
-GameStop (06-present)
Assistant Manager: manage retail environment, schedule employees, customer service.
My greatest skill is keeping the staff working together. I also learned a lot about what people look for in games.
I met quite a few game developers while working at GameStop, one of which has been helping me become a better animator.
